Fortune House Restaurant

It's fresh made and the service was great. I can tell they work hard to prepare the food and take pride in their work. Tipping seemed optional, since Dining in was simple and easy to clean up. (They had a tip jar.) I think most of their business is take out, but I liked the option of having a place to eat. I'll definitely go back

The food we got was great and very generous portions.We got so much that they couldn't close container.They brought our food out in To-go containers so the atmosphere isn't your typical sit down environment.

Update 10/13/21 It's been over a year since I've had a Decent Hot and Sour Soup, the first time I tried Fortune House Hot and Sour I didn't like it at all. That was appropriately 11 months ago, yes I should have gave it another chance by now but haven't until today when I got a small bowl and two shrimp egg rolls (All Their Egg rolls Are FANTASTIC) Well this evening I must Apologize to Fortune House and the Lovely Lady who normally takes my order and prepares much of the food, She Works so Hard for All of Us. The Hot and Sour Soup was Delicious!!! Thank You Fortune House, I thought I'd Never Again Know how Wonderful a Good bowl of Hot and Sour Soup was Again in my lifetime!!!........I've stopped here so many times now, I've got my friends going now also.. This is Truly the Best Chinese Food in Hamilton County!!! Stars... When You Find Yourself Wanting, Desiring, Thinking about.... It's Freaking That Good!!! Try This PLACE, The EGG ROLLS Alone Are Worth It but Try the Many Soup's and Dishes as well.. Everything Fresh Made and Cooked upon Order... It's Has Become My Number 1 () Place to EAT.. I could actually eat Their Food everyday if I could afford too During a Pandemic if this was the Only food I could get, I'd be HAPPY

Small town Chinese food with big taste. This place never lets you down on price or quality. I REALLY wish they’d bring back the buffet. If frequent this place more often if so. However even the take out is great. Honey chicken, sesame chicken, sweet n sour, teriyaki, lo mein, it’s all great.

They have really good food, and the family that runs the restaurant is really nice. It is a family affair, and they ate really sweet. They also do a great job with takeout. I've called in orders several times and picked it up when I get off work late. The food is c always hot and fresh. The egg rolls are always cooked fresh, do I'd advise breaking it open and letting it cool for a moment before eating it. I love their wonton soup, I get my wife to get me some when I'm sick.

I have been going here for over 6 years if not more. They’re always so nice and treat me to the best donuts you can get if you’re a recurring customer. Love this place and love the cooks/waiter,waitresses! Always my favorite!

I ordered General Tso’s chicken as well as egg drop soup and it was phenomenal. I’d definitely recommend this place. I can’t speak for the other dishes, but I can say what I had was delicious.

Toni and her family have the highest quality Chinese food and best service in the world. Best Chinese takeout in Chattanooga by far. Thank you all and we, as a community, are so lucky you all came to Signal Mountain.
